Halogen eCompensation already proving a winner
New product from Halogen Software integrates with popular Halogen eAppraisal, helps make pay-for-performance accurate and simple
OTTAWA, June 14, 2005 - Halogen Software Inc., a leading provider of Web-based employee performance management (EPM) software, today announced Halogen eCompensation, a powerful new complement to its flagship Halogen eAppraisal and eAppraisal Healthcare products.
Halogen eCompensation automates the entire compensation management process, including salaries, bonuses, variable pay, and share option packages. It replaces error-prone manual compensation reviews with an easy-to-use, accurate, and secure Web-based system that links employee performance to compensation adjustments and helps managers more easily distribute and track their compensation budgets.
Halogen eCompensation is already a hit with Halogen customers. "This product will be a natural extension of our employee performance process," said Trace Brigante, Vice President and Director of Project Management at HomeBanc Mortgage Corp. On its own, Halogen eCompensation is a valuable tool for avoiding the complexity and errors that can creep into manual pay adjustments, especially those based on merit. In tandem with Halogen eAppraisal, which automates and simplifies employee performance appraisals, Halogen eCompensation provides compensation adjustments that automatically reflect performance appraisals and corporate guidelines.
Halogen eCompensation can suggest pay increases based on performance and other criteria, and automatically flags compensation adjustments that are outside company recommended salary scales and budgets. It also provides managers with instant access to past appraisals, goal and development plans, and other individualized information needed to make fair and accurate compensation adjustments. Once managers establish and approve new compensation packages, Halogen eCompensation automatically generates a report that can be exported to an automated payroll system.
